I’m liking the fact that the new US dollar bills, designed by the Dowling Duncan studio, are so much more functional. It makes sense that the designs are vertical especially as they’re handled vertically. Well perhaps previously larger palms were taking into consideration. The different colours and sizes will ensure that I don’t make the mistake of tipping bell boys with a $100 bill. Each note depicts part of American history and culture:
$1 – The first African American president
$5 – The five biggest native American tribes
$10 – The bill of rights, the first 10 amendments to the US Constitution
$20 – 20th Century America
$50 – The 50 States of America
$100 – The first 100 days of President Franklin Roosevelt.
Right, I just hope they get accepted in the Amazon…
